Dr. Hisham Khan, MD is a double board certified anesthesiologist and pain management doctor with years of experience in treating complex chronic pain conditions. He completed his anesthesiology residency training at Ohio State University. His pursuit of knowledge and willingness to address complex medical problems motivated him to complete additional fellowship training in interventional pain management at Ohio State University.
Dr. Khan believes in a multidisciplinary approach to pain management and works closely with colleagues in multiple specialties to accurately diagnose and treat his patients. He prides himself on formulating a treatment plan in partnership with his patients. Hisham practices an evidence based approach and is a firm believer in offering therapies that are tailored to the individual’s needs and provide demonstrable benefit. He has a special interest in providing his patients with advanced minimally invasive surgical options. These options include; spinal cord stimulation, dorsal root ganglion stimulation and peripheral nerve stimulation therapy among many others. He is passionate about advancing the scope of pain management. Dr. Khan has presented his work at multiple national conferences and is a lifelong learner. Because of this focus he can provide his patients with innovative therapies for chronic pain.
In his free time he enjoys being outdoors, hiking and biking. He also enjoys traveling and experiencing the local dining and music scene.
