Arm Pain
At Lone Star Spine and Pain Physicians, we understand that arm pain can have a variety of causes. These can include degenerative changes, herniated discs, or bone spurs in the cervical spine, as well as nerve damage or entrapment along the path of the nerves in the upper extremity. Some patients may experience arm pain after surgery or due to complex regional pain syndrome. Our team will use a patient history, physical examination, imaging, EMG, and nerve conduction studies to help establish a diagnosis.
Treatments
Treatment options may include physical therapy, over-the-counter or prescription medications, nerve blocks, stellate ganglion blocks, cervical epidural steroid injections, and in some cases, spinal cord stimulation therapy for patients who have failed several conservative measures and continue to suffer from chronic pain.
